Mr. Manyenye serves as the Managing Director of Maisha Finance Limited, bringing over 20 years of extensive experience in the banking and financial services industry across Tanzania and international markets.

He has held senior leadership positions in globally recognized institutions, including Standard Chartered, Barclays, ICB, and Akiba Commercial Bank, where he led key functions such as Retail Banking, SME Development, Credit, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). His leadership has consistently driven innovation, operational excellence, and inclusive financial growth.

Mr. Manyenye also brings valuable international exposure, having served as Country Director for Oikocredit (Netherlands). In this role, he oversaw strategic investments and contributed to high-impact development projects aimed at expanding financial inclusion and supporting sustainable economic development.

Beyond executive management, he is a respected advisor and governance leader. He has served as a Senior Consultant for international development organizations, supporting healthcare financing initiatives across Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, and Madagascar. His board-level experience includes roles with DCB Bank, the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA), the Tax Revenue Appeals Board (TRAB), and the Agricultural Council of Tanzania.

Mr. Manyenye holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
