CALL FOR PROPOSAL FOR A CONSULTANCY TO CONDUCT AWARENESS CREATION ON SHFs DIGITAL INPUT AND OUTPUT AGGREGATION PLATFORMS FOR PARTNERSHIP FOR SCALE PROJECT.
The Agricultural Council of Tanzania (ACT) is executing the Partnership For Scale project. The goal of TAP III is to contribute to the nation’s zeal to improved food and nutrition security and poverty reduction through commercially oriented activities and investments amongst rural agricultural livelihoods.
Promotion and application of digital technology for aggregation of farmers (and other stakeholders) is one of the innervations under PFS, which is categorized under outcome; Increased Productivity of Small holder farmers. In this regard, PFS is looking for competent and experienced service providers who will undertake the assignment to create stakeholder’s awareness and sensitization on digital aggregation platforms.
General scope of work
To provide general practical knowledge on digital aggregation platforms and how these can help to overcome some of the challenges related to smallholder farmers’ input and output markets as well as acquisition of technical and business services.
Qualifications and Experience
- Should be a legal entity with all permits to work in Tanzania (in case of foreigner). A freelance consultant is more preferable
- The team leader should have at least a degree in economics or agricultural economics or business management or related fields with proven facilitation skills; and
- Should have at least 3-year experience in similar undertakings.
Assignment Duration: One (1) Month
